I’m not much of a cat person, even though cats seem to like me. I like cats that are more like dogs - like my best friends cat, Smokey. He comes & sits on my lap & meows about what has happened since I saw him last. He rolls over & lets me rub his belly & he comes when called (without having to lure him with food). And when we take the dog for a walk, he insists on coming along too.
There’s a genetically bred cat, called an Ashera - that is a mix of an African Seval, a leopard & a domesticated house cat. This hybrid cat sells for $22,00 - & the hypoallergenic version sells for $28,000!
The Ashera is not as aloof as some cats, is very vocal, can open doors and walk on a leash, according to the company that bred the cat. My kind of cat.
