What Is Your Dog Saying? - Dog Barks Decoded
Scientists in Budapest, Hungary have developed a software program that is said to be able to decode a dog’s bark, howls, yaps and growls.
The scientists have studied over 6,000 barks & have been able to determine when a dog has seen a ball, when it is fighting, playing, meeting a stranger or when the dog simply wants a walk. The software correctly identified barks around 50 percent of the time.
They haven’t determined yet whether or not dogs like the goofy clothes we put them in sometimes. That’s coming though! 
Radio Show For Dogs
Brian Kilcommons is a dog trainer to the stars and he now has a radio show for pet owners. Every Sunday at 10 am on station 107.7, WTPL-FM in New Hampshire, you can ask Brian questions about your dog’s behavior.
What if you don’t live in New Hampshire? Brian and his wife Sarah have taped 80, 3 to 5 minute video segments for “On Demand” cable. If you have a Comcast cable subscription, you can access the video by going to Channel 1 for “On Demand,” then click on “Life & Home,” then click on “Pets” to watch the segments.

Can there be too many social networking sites? I don’t know. But here is another one just for dogs, DoggySpaces.

MySpace For Dogs
A new social networking site for dogs has sprung up in the U.K., DoggySnaps. It is run by a charity that helps stray and abandoned dogs find homes. And they operate 17 no-kill shelters.
DoggySnaps has pictures of nearly 24,000 dogs and counting. You can upload a picture (or several pictures) of your own dog to the site. There are doggy profiles, forums (including breed specific ones) where you can talk about all things dog. And maybe you can find a boyfriend or girlfriend for your pooch.
