Everyone was excited for the opening day of pheasant season in Iowa. But, a hunter (James Harris) was accidently shot in the leg by his dog when it stepped on the shotgun & fired a round of 100-120 pellets into Harris’ calf.
The dog was not injured and no one else was hurt. Harris was reported to be in a satisfactory condition in hospital.
