Talk show host Oprah Winfrey announced to the world with a big fanfare on her show when she adopted a new Cocker Spaniel puppy from a Chicago animal shelter. She couldn’t make up her mind & decided to get 2 puppies (a boy & a girl). She named one Sadie after her beloved 14 year old Cocker Sadie who died last year. The boy, Ivan died of Parvovirus. Since Sadie is Ivan’s sister, her future health is uncertain as she has been diagnosed with Parvo too.
