For the fifth year in a row, the most popular dog name in the United States is “Max.”
The list of the top 10 dog names came by analyzing 450,000 insured clients from Veterinary Pet Insurance.
The top 10 dog names are:

3. Buddy
4. Bella
5. Lucy
6. Maggie
7. Daisy
8. Jake
9. Bailey
10. Rocky
It seems the top dog names aren’t very creative. You may as well be calling your kid…but wait - many dogs are child surrogates, so it makes perfect sense!
